The event aims to highlight the most successful manufacturing sites in Poland and to discuss practical aspects of modern solutions that support production.

The Factory of the Year event also include a knowledge sharing conference, with focus on the modernization of the manufacturing industry. Michał Pieczara, Managing Director at FlexLink Systems Polska, talked about the path to the Smart Factory and the gains that could be won by this development.

During the ceremony, 19 awards was presented to celebrate the most successful initiatives in the Polish factory technology. In this strong competition, FlexLink System Poland (flexlink.com) was announced winner of the innovative category Supplier of the Year, Smart Factory.

It was the seventh time the Factory of the Year competition was arranged, by the publishing house Trade Media International, together with the Engineering and Maintenance- and Control Engineering Polska magazines.
The Factory of the Year award is presented to companies situated in Poland, which has achieved outstanding results within different areas, such as production automation, Industry 4.0 and pro-ecological activities. The independent jury consists of members from both companies and media with deep industry knowledge.

The “Supplier of the Year” award is given to suppliers providing products or services for general technological innovation of production.
