The parties are exploring development of the next-generation of IDEX’s unique off-chip biometric sensors for smart cards employing Visionox’s flexible LTPS TFT backplane technology. The goal of the collaboration is to enable cost-effective, feature-rich smart card systems employing both display and biometric technologies.
