Nextiva, an industry leading cloud-based communications provider, announced today that it ranked 426 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and energy tech companies in North America.
Nextiva’s chief executive officer, Tomas Gorny, says the company’s product innovation, dedication to Amazing Service, and entrepreneurial spirit continue to drive Nextiva’s substantial growth. This is the fourth year that Nextiva has been recognized on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ list.

Criteria for inclusion is based on a company’s percentage of revenue growth from fiscal year 2014 to 2017. In 2018, Nextiva was ranked at 426 with a growth rate of 182 percent during that period.
Growing from 12 employees in 2008 to over 1,000 employees in 2018, Nextiva is on an exciting trajectory as a thriving technology company that supports more than 150,000 customers nationwide.
Nextiva’s appearance on the list is markedly different from the majority of companies included since it is privately held and doesn’t receive venture funding. Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 provides a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies both public and private in North America. Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2014 to 2017.
In order to be eligible for Technology Fast 500 recognition, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company's operating revenues. Companies must have base-year operating revenues of at least $50,000 USD, and current-year operating revenues of at least $5 million USD. Additionally, companies must be in business for a minimum of four years and be headquartered within North America.
