ALM today announced the addition of ALM’s United Kingdom legal publication, Legal Week to the Law.com platform, as the next step in ALM’s digital transformation journey.
Legal Week readers now have the benefit of Law.com’s improved user experience, and improved alert functionality to pull in precise results on keywords, phrases and topics related to search and allowing lawyers to stay on top of the critical areas of law that are most important them. This migration also allows for a new surveys and rankings section for all of Legal Week’s market-leading research in one place for the Global 200 and UK 100 law firm financial rankings and results.
“Legal Week’s migration onto Law.com has helped increase ALM’s digital presence,” said Jay Kirsch, President of Media at ALM. “By bringing our international brand onto our common CMS, it allows for ‘all-access’ to Law.com’s 19 other legal publications, content and ALM’s network.”
Legal Week’s migration has allowed for a more mobile-friendly interface for users to navigate throughout the website. The homepage features continuous chronological stories that flow through the top headlines while featuring the Editors’ top picks and ‘must reads’. Journalists will be featured with new author bios so readers can get to know the experts in the industry better.
“This is a big step for Legal Week to join the Law.com network,” said Ben Wheway, Managing Editor, Legal Week. “The redesign has improved the way the site looks, added a whole new level of functionally, and closer integration with ALM’s stable of titles which means our readers can benefit from a wealth of coverage of global issues of relevance to the UK legal industry. It’s great news that our content will now be available to the US audience to look for more insight into the UK market.”
