HexaVault password manager is a popular password manager and personal information vault for Android iPhone. HexaVault has released updates to their apps for Android and iPhone/iPad. The new version allows users to unlock their vaults with fingerprint on Android phones and with Touch ID or Face ID on iPhone/iPad that support it. Instead of unlocking the vault with the master password, users can now unlock the vault by touching the fingerprint sensor on their phone.
HexaVault allows users to store their passwords and other important personal information on their phones in a secure and encrypted vault. “If you have ever forgotten a password, you would realise the need for storing the passwords in a password manager app.”, said Yash Gadhiya, founder of HexaVault. “We recommend setting a strong master password for your vault but entering that long and complicated password every time to open the vault was tedious, so we added the ability to unlock the vault with biometric sensors on the device like fingerprint scanner or face scanner which are common on most phones these days”, he added.
Users can store passwords and important personal information like bank account details, credit or debit card details, information about insurance policies, investments, identity documents like passport, national id, tax id, drivers license and more. Users can also store membership details and subscription details for utilities like electricity, internet, cable and accounts like frequent flyer account, newspaper subscriptions etc.
The updated version of HexaVault also lets users import their passwords and various account information in bulk from an Excel file.
Existing users of HexaVault can update their apps from Google Play Store or Apple App store.
