(IGA) [Industrial Community Aerosol] consortium in Germany. KPIT was selected for successfully implementing a technology solution for a large global packaging company in the aerosol industry, which is also a member of the consortium. It provided the customer with Manufacturing Execution System solution to enable real-time shop floor visibility and automate reporting. The project work included integration with upstream business systems and enabling data management capabilities. The implementation resulted in delivering an improved stakeholder experience from shop floor to top floor, increased productivity, improved manufacturing efficiency and enhanced throughput. The synchronized production plans, made manufacturing process flexible with reusable templates, and allowed systematic and on-demand quality planning and execution while ensuring continuous quality improvement plan across the enterprise.
