The DVB-H Analyzer works with Pixelmetrix DVStationTM family of test and measurement systems. A key feature of the DVB-H Analyzer is a graphical display of time-slicing information. Measurements such as the MPE-FEC error ratios, power saving, and burst information (bit rate, burst size, burst jitter) are also provided.
“Tech-savvy consumers today are embracing the concept of personalized television experience even on-the-go. With the proliferation of indispensable mobile gadgets such as cell phones, PDAs and compact MPEG devices, mobile operators and broadcasters need to maintain top-notch quality of service and consumer experience so as to successfully capitalize on the mass marketing of mobile TV services. Adding the DVB-H Analyzer on the plate, Pixelmetrix offers operators a one-stop shop for DTV and IPTV solutions,” said Danny Wilson, Pixelmetrix President & CEO.
With DVB-H Analyzer, the DVStation can monitor the burst transmission of DVB-H data for a specific service, rather than a complete continuous transport stream multiplex. Services can be monitored locally or remotely. Users can set various thresholds for the measured values and receive alarm notifications when signal conditions violate these set threshold levels.
“As operators start their rollout of DVB-H services, they need simple visualization tools like the Pixelmetrix DVB-H Analyzer to provide at-a-glance confirmation of complex operating parameters,” said Tom Orlowski, Pixelmetrix Vice-President, Product Development.
At the booth, Pixelmetrix will also showcase an exciting repertoire of newly launched monitoring platforms and spotlight on its Disaster Recovery, Compliance Recording and Streamlined Headend Monitoring solutions, among others.
Pixelmetrix develops a host of IPTV and Preventive Monitoring systems that offer unique attributes and versatility, allowing operators to achieve end-to-end visibility and keep tabs on their network architecture.
