Lifesize®, a global innovator of video conferencing technology, was named the winner of two Gold Stevie® Awards in the categories Best New B2B Cloud Service and Best New B2B Product in the 2018 German Stevie Awards.
The German Stevie Awards are the most all-inclusive business awards in Germany and are now in their fourth edition since 2015. More than 400 nominations from organizations all across Germany were considered this year. The redesigned Lifesize app received a Gold Award in the Best New B2B Cloud Service category and the Lifesize® Icon 450 received a Gold Award in the Best New B2B Product category.
The Stevie Awards programs are widely considered to be the world's premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in the workplace in programs such as The International Business Awards® for more than a decade. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the German Stevie Awards will be presented to winners at a gala banquet at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin on April 27, 2018.
The jury in the New Products & IT segment was comprised of Dr. Jens Wohltorf (Blacklane), Hubert Strokosch (Deutsche Telekom), Dirk Lewandowski (DHL Express), Viola Tasch (Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin), Alexandra Montag (Deutsche Messe), Holger Wilke (Weber Shandwick), Erwin Pfuhler (EU Business School Munich), Frederik Bernard (Foresight Consulting) and Birgit Jordan (Integration Matters).
Jury comments for the new Lifesize app included: “Easy to use, flexible videoconferencing solution that caters to the individual needs and preferences of employees. A comprehensive collaboration solution that is very intuitive to use.”
Jury comments for the Lifesize Icon 450 included: “A comprehensive collaboration solution that is addressing the actual real-life needs of those relying on phone and video conferences for business. From my personal experience, I know how often call participants are not framed correctly and how tedious it is to have to manually readjust camera settings.”
