These awards honor printed and electronic communications that demonstrate superior writing, editing, organization, and design.
The publication, Public Private Roundtables at the Seventh Clean Energy Ministerial, is a summary report of key outcomes and recommendations from four clean energy roundtables that took place at the June 2016 international ministerial meeting. Hosted by the United States, the event gathered energy ministers and other high-level delegates from 23 countries, who traveled to San Francisco, California, to discuss ways to expand clean energy deployment and cut global carbon emissions while driving economic growth.
Energetics’ communications specialists and graphic designers developed the winning publication in collaboration with clients at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), where the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) secretariat was then housed. The product provides summary information to CEM attendees and stakeholders, including energy ministers, whose complex decision making is informed by roundtable discussions. The report was part of Energetics’ long-term assistance to the CEM secretariat, which included annual roundtable coordination and ongoing communications support.
Of the publication, one STC judge wrote,“The writing does an excellent job of summarizing the information and opinions in concise form while making it accessible to non-participants. Difficulties are not glossed over, but opportunities are highlighted. This is a commendable summary of the progress in energy investment…. The presentation does justice to the material.”
