• 27 new trucks handed over to "Hrvatska posta"
• Reliability and MAN service network shine
At the beginning of December, the Croatian MAN truck & bus (mantruckandbus.com) importer Auto Hrvatska handed over a total of 27 new MAN TGMs and MAN TGLs to "Hrvatska posta", the Croatian Post.
"As a direct response to the ever increasing volume and quantity of shipping services, especially in the parcel post business, our company renews about 15 to 25 percent of its transport fleet every year," explained Ivan Čulo, Hrvatska posta CEO, regarding the delivery of a total of 27 new MAN trucks on 4th December in Zagreb.
In the future, three MAN TGL 12,250 4x2 BLs, 14 MAN TGMs 15,290 4x2 LLs and 10 MAN TGMs 18,290 4x2 BLs will be in service in the distinctive yellow of the Croatian Post. The two-axle vehicles are all equipped with box bodies.
The Croatian Post (posta.hr) currently uses nearly 1000 multi-axle vehicles and around 1900 motorised two-wheelers, which accumulate a total annual mileage of almost 40 million kilometres. The top priority for the new additions to the fleet is thus the highest level of reliability and, when something does go wrong, fast support is available. The large and extensive network of authorised MAN truck service centres in Croatia provides the ideal basis for this achieving this goal.
