StoneCalibre is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Applied Voice & Speech Technologies Inc. ("AVST"), a trusted developer of software-based Unified Communications (UC) solutions for businesses of all sizes. The company was merged with XMedius Solutions Inc. ("XMedius") as of October 31st. With its global headquarters in Montreal, Canada, the newly combined entity will provide a complete set of communication tools that leverage voice and data through IP networks using different types of enterprise grade solutions, either on-premises or in the cloud.
The transaction combines 60 years of experience and two customer-driven organizations with a shared commitment to innovation, service, and channel partner relationships. AVST designs, delivers and supports software-based UC voice solutions that transform the productivity of individual workers, teams and enterprises. XMedius provides the most efficient and reliable secure file exchange software solutions available in the market today. The combination of AVST and XMedius creates a new leader in communication solutions, whether voice or data, with over 500 partners and nearly 4,500 active customers worldwide.
