ATEN International, the world-leading provider of IT connectivity and total management solutions, announced today that its VM3200 32x32 Modular Matrix Switch, CV211 Laptop USB Console Crash Cart Adapter, CS1924 4-Port USB 3.0 4K DisplayPort KVMP™ Switch, and US7220 Thunderbolt 2 Sharing Switch have all won the 2018 Taiwan Excellence Awards for their innovation. ATEN receives the honor for four products across three of its business lines Professional Audio/Video (Pro-A/V), Enterprise, and SOHO solutions.
The Taiwan Excellence Award is an official accolade presented by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) of Taiwan and is the highest honor available to products that encapsulate the quality of “innovalue.” These class-leading products are selected due to their excellence in R&D, design, quality, marketing, and manufacturing. According to the MOEA, 1,209 products from 578 companies participated in the selection process this year.
“There was 10% increase in the number of candidates for the Taiwan Excellence Award this year, meaning the competition was even more intense. Our commitment to our partners and customers to put innovation first has not only allowed us to break our own record, but also to demonstrate our technology leadership in the KVM, Pro A/V, and consumer USB products areas all at once,” said Kevin Chen, President of ATEN International.

• 32x32 Modular Matrix Switch:
The VM3200 offers advanced access and real-time control of multiple local and remote A/V input devices and displays from a single chassis. A built-in Scaler encodes the video format in order to provide seamless, real-time switching. The front panel LCD shows a quick view of active port connections. This makes it ideal for large-scale A/V applications such as broadcasting stations, traffic, and transportation-related control rooms.
• The industry smallest Laptop USB Console Crash Cart Adapter:
The CV211 provides a direct Laptop-to-Computer connection to servers, computers, kiosks, and ATMs. Recommended for on-the-go IT professionals, the CV211 eliminates the need for heavy crash carts while offering BIOS-level access, bi-directional file transfers, hotkey macros, video recording, and screenshots through a USB 2.0 and VGA composite cable.
• 4-Port USB 3.0 4K DisplayPort KVMP™ Switch:
ATEN CS1924 offers an unprecedented performance of delivering 4K resolution along with the next generation USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub in desktop KVM switching technology for the increasing demand of higher video quality and transfer speeds on modern computers.
