About Donna D’Errico
Beautiful, sweet, funny, and talented, Donna D’Errico is an American film and television actress. After starring on Baywatch, Donna excelled in more selective independent movie roles alongside such actors as Colm Feore, Jennifer Tilly, and Andie MacDowell. This talented young woman also wears the hats of producer, writer, and television developer. She is currently in development on several television shows which she created and is producing. She is currently also in the middle of filming a feature film thriller.
“The women of the Gaslight who accompanied the hero, John Mitchell, around NYC were all beautiful and had no apparent reason to be troubled. After all, just look at them…so when I wrote the character of Victoria-devastatingly beautiful BUT also emotionally hemorrhaging----I wanted to debunk that conventional wisdom. The actor playing Victoria would need to be someone whose true heart and soul refines her beauty authentically. Donna D’Errico is that actor. The audience will feel it right away”, says screenwriter and producer Vincent Restauri.
About 116 MacDougal
116 MacDougal tells the true story of the iconic Gaslight Cafe in Greenwich Village during the late 50’s and early 60’s. Donna D’Errico stars as Victoria, an embittered mafia wife whose crushing personal secrets are the keys to the Gaslight--- a coal cellar turned coffee shop at 116 MacDougal Street in NYC’s East Village. It was there in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s that soon-to-be iconic beat and folk musicians, songwriters, poets, and novelists like Bob Dylan and Allen Ginsberg gave birth to the mainstreaming of protest and counterculture in the United States and around the world.
The movie will begin filming in early January, 2018 in Pittsburgh, PA both on location and in studio and will culminate in New York City. For additional information, contact Lynda B Schneider, Publicist.
