Sarasota, FL, United States, 2007/04/11 - According to Adanac Molybdenum executive chairman Larry Reaugh, the key to a successful molybdenum mine is developing a ‘transparent relationship’ with the area’s natives and locals.

Adanac Molybdenum Corp’s executive chairman Larry Reaugh told StockInterview.com in today’s audio interview, “If you don’t have a good transparent relationship with the natives and the locals, and you don’t include them all the way through, you are not going to have ease of getting your social, economic and environmental permits done.”
In the exclusive interview, Reaugh explained how his company had established a workable relationship with the First Nation tribe in northwestern Canada’s Yukon before proceeding with plans to mine molybdenum.
Reaugh pointed out, “You are doing a good job of being a good corporate citizen not just to the native groups but to the entire area, and if you don’t think that way, then you are going to have problems before you get going.”
This was one of several reasons he cited as to why he expects Adanac to be mining molybdenum at the company’s Ruby Creek project by late 2008 or early 2009. Reaugh pointed out, “The project is way ahead of its peers. I don’t think there’s anybody else that’s breaking ground this summer of a project this size.
