Hitachi High Technologies America, Inc. (HTA), an American subsidiary of Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation (Hitachi High-Tech), announces that it will open "Hitachi High Tech Science Park" in Chatsworth, California, on June 9, 2017, to work more closely with Hitachi High-Tech's Scientific Systems Business (including, for example, electron microscopes) and Biotechnology and Medical Products Business (including, for example, clinical analyzers) customers and business partners. Hitachi High Tech Science Park also will be the home of Hitachi High-Technologies Science America, Inc. (HHS-US), another American Hitachi High-Tech subsidiary.
Hitachi High-Tech (hitachi-hightech.com) is increasing its focus on collaboration with a particular emphasis on early stage collaboration R&D with customers as well as business partners. Meanwhile, to keep up with rapidly changing needs in the domestic and global markets in the Science & Medical Systems business, HTA and HHS-US will assist the company by conducting R&D closer to customers in their local markets. The new Hitachi High Tech Science Park will be integral to such activities.
With the establishment of Hitachi High Tech Science Park, Hitachi High-Tech aims to further enhance customer satisfaction and expand its business as a leading company in the fields of biotechnology, healthcare, and social and industrial infrastructure.
