Shanghai, China, 2017/05/10 - Toys“R”Us, the world’s leading dedicated toy and baby products retailer, has awarded Kuehne + Nagel a four-year contract to manage its North China warehousing and distribution in Beijing, China - ToysRUs.com / Kuehne-Nagel.com.

The newly opened warehouse consolidates products from both local and overseas suppliers distributing to 45 stores in North China. Each year, almost half a million products will be handled by the North China distribution centre. Other services offered from the Beijing based distribution centre include inventory control, fulfilment, and management of returns. All activities from the company’s previous distribution centre in Tianjin were transferred into this new warehouse.
Kuehne + Nagel has worked with Toys“R”Us (toysrus.com) since 2015, previously managing distribution in East, West and South China. With this new contract in North China, Kuehne + Nagel will now manage the national distribution for all of Toys“R”Us 130 retail stores across China.
