Jupiter, FL, United States, 2017/05/09 - What started out as a public statement about individual’s private property rights is turning into a cottage industry for two semi-retired undersea explorers and authors. Yvonne and Captain Dominic Addario are known for taking on the Government!.

They are now about to embark on a new adventure of discovery by setting up what they call the Explorer’s Vacation Club on the waterfront in one of America’s favorite tropical destinations Jupiter by the Sea, in Florida!
Capt Dom points out a couple of facts: “The earth is 4.5 billion years old!” “Just about anywhere one digs a hole, one will find something old!” “These shells piles are indeed old” “But, They are Yvonne and My Shell Piles” and what they are made up from is actually ancient garbage!” To prove the ownership issue beyond any shadow of a doubt, Capt. Dom came up with the idea to have his wife an artist, paint some of the shells and start a Kickstarter marketing Campaign, he is about to launch on his 68th birthday. “I have no idea how many shells we are actually going to sell” “But, as the 21st Century Stewards of this land, it our job and not the government to care and protect it!”
“We wish to share our Adventures in Discovery” with others and by making it so others can come and “experience” this beautiful slice of Paradise Found at our Jupiter River Inn and Explorers Vacation Club we are about to build this can happen”…
. To do so, they have to sell half of their property which is prime Ocean Boulevard waterfront property right on the 50 yard line on what is becoming called the Jupiter Inlet Village. One problem, the Town wants the property and has been attempting to obfuscate any attempts for its development, while attempting to tax them out of existence! Now they are playing the “historic preservation card”!
This acre and one half is just steps from the Gin Clear waters of Jupiter’s Inlet and has been continuously inhabited since before advent of the written word! This is evidenced by the piles of oyster and other mollusk shells that surround the live oak tree hammocks that line its waterfront on an oxbow of the original Jupiter river bank. Carbon 14 dating dates some of these shells back to 3500 B.C.! “Native Americans and other Folks have been sitting under these trees eating Oysters for some time now,”
Capt. Addario states,“Maybe you may want to come here, decompress and try it out!” - Problem is, certain factions are stating that these shell piles are pre-historic shell middens and they have been placed on the State of Florida’s, Division of Historic Site’s Master Site File.
Capt Dom states,"These shells are private property and belong to we, the owners and tax payers of this property! We are willing to share this site with others but we are its 21st Century Stewards and if we can take ancient garbage into 21st Century Art - we are going to!".
