Recently, they announced the winners of the 2017 Gartner Data & Analytics Excellence Awards.
We are honored to say HARMAN was named a finalist! Our submission focused on Data Monetization and ADAS solutions for Connected Cars in the “Best Use of Data in a Product or Service” category.
In total, there were 152 submissions with only 12 finalists selected from six categories. The team of Gartner analysts selected each honoree by benchmarking submissions against world-class performance standards as well as identifying strong leadership, effective use of modern technologies and clear business outcomes. Our submission referenced Data Monetization, ADAS Solutions, Aha Analytics and Engineering Services and OTA offerings.
Data is a critical component of the future of mobility, and our solutions provide OEMs and tier one suppliers with an acceptable level of confidence in system performance in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable cost. However, as our experience has taught us, there is no such thing as a “one size fits all” approach when working in the auto industry. We now have a better understanding of where we sit in the value chain, and to showcase added value, we cannot simply collect the data and understand how powerful it is, but instead interpret it and make it useful.
