Gould’s presentation,“The ’S’ in IoT Stands for Security,” will be held at 11:15 am CDT.
In his presentation, Gould will discuss the critical nature of IoT device security and why IoT security is only as strong as the weakest node on the network. He will also provide insight into various attack surfaces that need to be considered, best practices for developers and reasons why traditional malware detection will be ineffective in the IoT world.
