Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced that MND Gas Storage, part of MND the leading Czech oil & gas company, has successfully implemented Infor EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) to optimize maintenance processes. The system has been deployed in cooperation with INSEKO, an Infor partner for Infor EAM in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
As a company operating highly complex infrastructure for gas storage, MND Gas Storage faced numerous challenges moving from paper-based workflows. Maintenance operations were managed through paper work-orders or via telephone which led to lots of errors and low efficiency.
Infor EAM has now provided the company with a fully digital workflow process and management now has a precise, real time insight into the business. Technical staff can plan their labor more productively, and maintenance personnel can use tools enabling to make digital records of their maintenance works in a user-friendly way.
The company has achieved full control of maintenance costs for operating plants and costs on spare parts, which can be now optimized, and increase competitiveness in the market. The solution is integrated with its existing ERP system.
