JDA Software Group, Inc. and netLogistiK (netlogistik.com) today announced that Distribuidora Tamex S.A. de C.V, distributor of electrical equipment, selected JDA® Warehouse Management to increase its level of service and help it become the market leader in Mexico.
Distribuidora Tamex (distamex.com.mx) is dedicated to the sale and distribution of electrical equipment, lighting and control materials. The 20-year-old company based in Mexico has a network of 29 branches to meet the needs of the current market.
In 2016, Distribuidora Tamex sought to implement a warehouse management solution to increase its customer service levels, and offer the best service availability and delivery times in Mexico, all while lowering costs to maximize profitability. After a competitive evaluation, Distribuidora Tamex chose JDA Warehouse Management alongside netLogistiK, JDA's strategic partner for the implementation. The combination of the JDA solution with netLogistiK’s services best met Distribuidora Tamex’s needs and requirements.

With the help of JDA and netLogistiK, Distribuidora Tamex will have more accurate inventory levels, in the right locations and have the ability to deliver to the customer when required. With this implementation, Distribuidora Tamex expects to increase its service level to 98 percent, increase inventory accuracy to 99.9 percent and to realize a 10 percent increase in sales derived from extraordinary service.
