Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced that OKULA Nýrsko, a Czech manufacturer of injection molded plastic parts, will implement the latest version of Infor M3. The new system is planned to go live by mid-2017. S&T, an Infor partner for Infor M3 in the Czech Republic, will support the customer during the deployment.
OKULA Nýrsko decided to upgrade from the previous MOVEX system, which has been used since 2001, mainly because of already insufficient functionality for advanced planning. The latest version of Infor M3 will cover complete business processes including sales, procurement, manufacturing, planning and logistics. The company will also build connection with customers through EDI, while currently the data transfer from customers comes to the existing ERP system manually.
Once the implementation is completed, the company expects better support of planning processes, more flexible response to customer requirements, lower level of inventory and lower administrative load. The new system should eliminate situations, when a customer order is declined due to missing ability to plan resources in a longer time horizon. OKULA will see major productivity benefits from the user experience available in the latest Infor M3, as it will make it faster and easier for users to identify key information and take better decisions.
