London, United Kingdom, 2007/04/04 - Dr Baljit Dhadda, Rockpools’ senior regeneration consultant, will be publishing a commentary based on her research, “Thinking Bioethics”, in an American Law Journal in June, it was announced today.

The report, which tackles intellectual property, ethics, biotechnology and the law, was accepted for publication in the Law, Culture and the Humanities journal, published by the renowned US college, Amherst. This edition is to be called ‘Bioethics, Biotechnology and the Law’ and will be published later this year.
She said: “This subject of shifting contexts of ethics and politics within today’s high–tech society particularly interests me, hence I focussed on it also in my doctoral thesis. I hope that the piece adds value to the academic dialogue on these issues.”

Baljit, who leads on senior regeneration recruitment, holds a doctoral degree from London University on the subject of the ethics of patenting biotechnological inventions.
