AGNITY Global, Inc. (AGNITY), a leading global communication application solutions provider, today announced the successful implementation of its Advanced Routing applications, fully integrated with Dialogic® PowerMedia® XMS media server for a communications service provider (CSP) in North America.
AGNITY’s advanced routing applications are developed on its industry-leading Communication Application Server (CAS). AGNITY CAS is a scalable, virtualized, carrier-grade, multi-service software platform built ground up utilizing SIP servlet container architecture. It offers necessary tools, building blocks, and open APIs that enable service providers to develop and introduce new services with faster time-to-market.
Dialogic’s PowerMedia XMS is a highly scalable, software-only media server that enables standards-based, real-time multimedia communications solutions for IMS, MRF, Enterprise, and WebRTC applications on premise or in the cloud. AGNITY and Dialogic have delivered combined solutions, AGNITY CAS and Dialogic XMS, to many global CSP networks including Japan, Mexico and Central America. In this particular North American deployment, the combined solution architecture has been demonstrated to meet customer’s high scalability requirements. As network traffic increases the deployment configuration scales by adding new CAS clusters and additional media server units to the existing configuration in a flexible non-service affecting manner.
