GE’s blister-free dairy/sanitary membranes are cost-effective and minimize production loss.”
For the last 18 months, GE has been developing and qualifying various combinations of polymers, backings and adhesives to arrive at a combination that is more robust, eliminating an industry problem that has been around for more than 20 years. GE has created a blister-free sanitary element construction that currently is being incorporated into GE’s complete dairy element product line. This innovation will benefit dairy operations in many ways including:
• Better operation running at high dairy solids.
• Value-added hygiene outcomes reducing the risk of SPC or APC bacteria contamination.
• Improved longevity of element life by reducing glue lines failures and mandatory change-outs due to regulatory inspection.
