While functionality is a must, we also understand that a bag is an extension of a carefully considered look and is as important as the clothes we wear.

The Magpie collection is made of vegetable tanned buffalo leather and or canvas. This ensures an environmentally friendly process and a quality finish. All materials used in the Magpie collection are carefully selected and then assembled by local craftsmen who pay great attention to detail in stitching to ensure a perfect finish. Buffalo leather is well known for its resilience, texture and stain resistance.

Magpie (magpiedrygoods.com) is a family owned and operated company located in Brooklyn, New York. We started Magpie in 2016 with the goal of creating stylish yet functional products. Our Creative Director, Jessica, has a long history of design endeavors as an illustrator, photographer, and architect. She decided to start Magpie after becoming frustrated when she couldn’t find a backpack that was functional yet fit with her personal urban aesthetic.
