ATTO Technology, Inc., a global leader of storage, network connectivity and infrastructure solutions for data-intensive computing environments for nearly 30 years, will be demonstrating new Thunderbolt™ 3 to 40GbE ThunderLink® connectivity devices this year at IBC, September 9-13 in Amsterdam.
The new ThunderLink 3402 dual 40Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 to dual 40GbE and ThunderLink 3401 dual 40Gb/s to single 40GbE feature USB-C connectors, allowing greater flexibility and a future-proofing solution when connecting to any Thunderbolt 3-enabled Windows® platform. With protocol speeds of 40Gb/s, users can expect read and write speeds capable of handling demanding bandwidth-intensive applications. A live demonstration will feature the 3402 providing connectivity from an HP® ZBook Studio Mobile Workstation through a Mellanox® switch to AIC® storage utilizing ATTO’s FastFrame™ 40GbE network interface cards (NICs).
ATTO is also introducing the new ThunderLink 3102 Thunderbolt 3 to dual 10GbE and ThunderLink 3101 Thunderbolt 3 to single 10GbE devices. These optical 10GbE devices allow for connectivity to widespread 10GbE infrastructures and continues ATTO’s longstanding commitment to offer a full portfolio of Thunderbolt 3 products, including 32Gb and 16Gb Fibre Channel as well as 40Gb and 10Gb Ethernet devices. ATTO also maintains a full portfolio of Thunderbolt 2 products to provide a flexible solution for all major storage protocols and operating systems.
The new ThunderLink devices offer:
• Advanced Data Streaming (ADS™) technology for consistent time-to-data and smooth, reliable streaming;
• All required QSFP+/SFP+ modules for connectivity;
• A simple configuration tool to be able to manage and monitor Thunderbolt products and ATTO host bus adapters from a single pane of glass.
