The award is given for exceptional innovation proposals across Europe and is judged by internal stakeholders at Nestlé on the basis of a series of solutions demonstrating innovation, proactivity and practicality.

During 2015, Smurfit Kappa (smurfitkappa.com) had seven innovative concepts recognised by Nestlé which covered a wide range of packaging solutions from shelf ready packaging, to point of sale displays and end of line packaging machinery. The winning concept voted by the Nestlé stakeholders as the most successful concept was the Easy Erect Display, which is delivered flat and can be erected in store in less than three seconds without any training.
