Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced that Virginia Premier Health Plan (Virginia Premier), a full-service Medicaid health plan owned by the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center, has selected Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite to facilitate high-performance, high-capacity integration and information exchange. Infor Cloverleaf is a market-leading, enterprise-caliber integration platform that facilitates the movement of secure data through disparate systems within and outside the healthcare enterprise. With Infor, teams at Virginia Premier will have the tools to focus on core goals and activities instead of validating information from the millions of transactions that are processed annually.
"Infor Cloverleaf can handle our current and future needs because it's scalable," said Carl Gattuso, Chief Corporate Officer for Virginia Premier. "We wanted the control and flexibility to translate X12 and other data files on our own and to stop outsourcing that service."
Via Infor Cloverleaf, Virginia Premier has the opportunity to save costs associated with outsourcing X12 file translations, gain a higher level of accuracy with translated data files, reduce time IT spends interpreting X12 data for claims and enrollment staff, and refocus the attention of the IT team on more strategic tasks. Infor Cloverleaf will also support reconciliation and auditing activities for claims and enrollment processes.
The Infor Cloverleaf Integration Suite delivers leading clinical integration technologies that create a sustainable foundation for organizations to proactively manage, coordinate, and share data across the care continuum to improve quality and care outcomes. Users get secure messaging, monitoring, archiving, resiliency, and cost efficient interoperability via industry standard protocols and web services, regardless of the source system, message format, or transmission protocol.
"Information from multiple data sources continues to grow in the healthcare industry, and it's no surprise that organizations continue to face tough challenges when it comes to getting healthcare providers the information they need, when they need it," said Mike Poling, senior vice president, Infor Healthcare. "Infor is able to offer applications specific to the needs of the healthcare industry that ensure relevant information is available and easily accessible to the right people in order to help healthcare organizations avoid unnecessary and costly redundancies."
