TIBCO Software, Inc., a global leader in integration and analytics, today announced it has received a 2016 Industry Excellence Award from Dresner Advisory Services, for its high customer rating received in the 2016 Wisdom of Crowds® Business Intelligence Market Study. TIBCO received an Overall Leadership award, further substantiating the value of its innovative BI portfolio and its dedication to customer satisfaction. The awards are presented to vendors achieving leadership status in the 2016 Wisdom of Crowds® Business Intelligence or Enterprise Planning Market Studies. Dresner Advisory's annual reports are based on data collected from end users and provide a real-world perspective on the BI and planning markets.

The Dresner Advisory Services Industry Excellence Awards recognize vendors who achieved high rankings on one or both of two market models included in its 2016 flagship BI and Planning reports. The Customer Experience model considers the real-world experience of customers working with these technology solutions on a daily basis, plotting vendor touch points sales and service and customer sentiment surrounding product and technology. The Vendor Credibility Model considers a vendor's relationship with their customers, plotting value for price paid against a "confidence" score comprised of integrity and recommend measures.
