The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi ended a 5-day tour of African countries on a high note. The objective of the tour was to strengthen India's partnership with African nations in the areas of Energy, Agriculture and ICT. During his state visit to Mozambique, the first leg of his Africa tour, he visited the Centre for Innovation and Technological Development (CITD), Maluana Science and Technology Park in Mozambique built through a Government of India aided initiative.
The Prime Minister mentioned that,“CITD is doing commendable work in harnessing skills of youngsters & providing a conducive atmosphere for research, innovation & start-ups”.
InKnowTech has been involved in this key strategic ICT transformation role of enabling and operating the CITD project, Maluana Science and Technology Park in Mozambique for the last six years. This project aims to place Mozambique firmly in the global ICT innovation map through creation of quality technology infrastructure, creation of skills and human capacity and development of incubation for start-ups. InKnowTech was responsible for conceptualization, design, implementation and operationalization of the ICT infrastructure for the CITD, Maluana Science and Technology Park.
