IDEX ASA, a leader in fingerprint imaging and recognition technology and IP, today announced that it will be demonstrating its fingerprint sensors and state of the art matching algorithm technology at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai on June 29 through July 1, 2016 in Shanghai, China. Greater China is an active area of focus for IDEX through ramping of local sales and support staff and sampling our newest products to both OEMs and module vendors. IDEX’s suite of silicon based sensors as well as customizable off-chip sensing solutions, including in-glass sensors, are in commercial production or late-stage product development for a series of mobile device, smart card, and IoT applications.

LG recently launched LG Stylus 2 Plus smartphone featuring IDEX’s touch fingerprint sensor, Cardinal Q. IDEX will showcase this sensor at MWC Shanghai. The Cardinal Q and the newly released Cardinal N silicon sensor products have some of the smallest silicon footprints in the market for space challenged mobile fingerprint sensing form factors.

IDEX will be exhibiting at stand N1F70 (Hall N1) and will also be available for meetings with customers and industry partners at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre.
