R. STAHL, located in Houston, Texas, a leader in explosion protection electrical products and systems, announces their new line of stainless steel explosion protected circuit breaker panels.
Called EPiK™, these panels eliminate the need for explosion proof enclosures by moving the explosion protection from the enclosure to the breaker itself. The EPIK Circuit Breaker Panel is made of 316L stainless steel provides high corrosion resistance and extends the life and safety of your system. The R. STAHL EPIK Circuit Breaker Panel is easy to operate, lightweight and easy to install compared to traditional explosion proof cast and bolted systems.

"Older technology had safety concerns around corrosion, missing bolts, and incorrectly poured conduit seals. The new EPiK™ system removes the needs for any of those," he continued. The EPiK™ panel is certified for Class I, Division 2 Groups B, C, D, and Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, G. They are made from 316 stainless steel enclosures, and have options for main breaker or main lug only up to 42 breakers.
