Acceleration Systems, a cloud-based bandwidth acceleration service company, announced the launch of Streambed™, the revolutionary new satellite optimization technology that accelerates all data types, including streaming media, video, and encrypted data. Streambed will debut at SATELLITE 2016 in National Harbor, Maryland.
Streambed improves the efficiency of the underlying connection, resulting in increased data transfer speeds without any sacrifice to resolution or modification of data security. It guarantees delivery regardless of network conditions, file size, or unreliable long distance connections, and transfers large data sets of small files as efficiently as large single files. And it eliminates TCP-related network constraints, replacing TCP with a patented transport mechanism that provides greater control over bandwidth. As an add-on feature of Acceleration Systems’ patented, fully integrated cloud-based WAN optimization solution, Streambed is easy to deploy and is controlled by Acceleration Systems’ integrated management and reporting engine.
