Agfa HealthCare announces today that its theme is “Visualizing the Future of HealthCare”, for ECR 2016, taking place March 2-6 at the Austria Center Vienna, in Austria. The company will showcase how it has used its 100+ years of experience to develop innovative solutions that answer the real needs of clinical practice. This commitment is demonstrated by Agfa HealthCare’s approach of ONE platform for IT and ONE platform for imaging.
IT: integrated care for today’s and tomorrow’s healthcare organization
Visitors to ECR 2016 will discover Agfa HealthCare’s Clinical Portal, which offers a gateway to integrated care. The Portal gives a patient-centric overview of patient information from various sources, to the stakeholders in the patient’s care, inside or outside the hospital. Easy to integrate and to use, it provides a comprehensive road map running from the Portal itself, through to true integrated care and the electronic health record (EHR).
Agfa HealthCare will also highlight its Enterprise Imaging for Radiology platform, which supports value-based care coordination with a broad range of functions that align the enterprise by facilitating quality outcomes. This completely unified Enterprise Imaging platform takes a whole new approach to imaging management, providing a picture archiving and communication system (PACS), reporting, advanced image processing and integration of clinical information − all in one, sophisticated platform. Hospitals and users no longer need to deal with a separate radiology PACS, separate cardiology PACS, separate vendor-neutral archive (VNA), separate viewer: they can grow the Enterprise Imaging platform from various ”-ologies” (such as radiology or cardiology), to make all images, available to all involved caregivers. DR 600: leading-edge automation, design and integration with ZeroForce technology
Fully automated, leading-edge, multi-detector, high-productivity and high-throughput the digital DR 600 X-ray room streamlines workflow, increases throughput and enhances the experience of both patients and caregivers. Automation, auto-positioning and auto-tracking allow light, fast and easy operation, while a choice of fixed, tethered and wireless detectors with Cesium Iodide (CsI) or Gadolinium Oxy-Sulphide (GOS) technology provides flexibility. CsI detectors also offer potential for dose reduction (1) . The ZeroForce Technology offers smooth operation with almost zero effort.
DX-D 100+ with FreeView: mobile imaging excellence, enhanced maneuverability
FreeView technology makes Agfa HealthCare’s mobile DX-D 100+ even more maneuverable. It combines full mobility and better navigation with an unobstructed view, plus Agfa HealthCare’s gold-standard MUSICA image processing. High-quality radiology exams can be efficiently performed in mobile environments, including intensive care units (ICUs), emergency departments, operating rooms or at the bedside, while the collapsible telescopic arm enables better navigation through corridors, around the patient’s bed or ward, etc.
