Grandstream Networks, connecting the world since 2002 with award-winning SIP unified communication solutions, is releasing a new multi-line DECT VoIP base station and HD cordless handset combination for beta testing by the Grandstream Beta Club. For this new beta test, the Grandstream Beta Club is looking for testers with broad experience in DECT VoIP telephones; those who like to dig in and experiment with new products. Ideal applicants are those who have prior experience with Grandstream products and/or DECT IP phones and phone networks. Applications are only open to testers located in North America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
The new DECT HD IP phone being released to the Grandstream Beta Club is a multi-line DECT VoIP base station and HD cordless handset combination. This powerful VoIP DECT base station pairs with up to 5 DECT cordless HD handsets, with a range of up to 50 meters indoors and 300 meters outdoors. The DECT base station supports up to 5 DECT handsets with up to 10 SIP accounts, 4 concurrent calls and 3-way audio conferencing, along with integrated PoE. The DECT cordless handsets feature HD audio, 1.8” 126x160 color LCD, battery life of 20-hour talk time or 250-hour standby time, a 3.5mm headset jack and a removable belt clip for added mobility. It also supports network phonebooks and software upgrade over the air.
50 units of this phone will be available for shipping to selected Beta Club members by late February 2016. Due to specific product availability, participants must be located in North America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Units are not available for participants located in other regions at present time. If selected for this Beta Club opportunity, participants will receive one DECT base station and one HD cordless handset for testing.
Program Availability & Pricing
Each product beta test released through the Grandstream Beta Club will have a limited amount of beta test units available. Application to the Grandstream Beta Club is FREE, and for this particular test is open only to those in North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Selection of participants will be determined by Grandstream based on applicant qualification. The cost to participate in a beta test will be $1 to cover handling, however the product model and shipping will be free of charge for each active beta tester. There is no charge to applicants who are not selected for a Beta test.
