Search2Hired.Com, the video platform of recruitment, today launches its android mobile app on the occasion of “Start-up India, Standup India” event, for job seekers across the globe.
The app will let users create a short video resume with an automated guidance system and is available for users with android 4.1 and above. With the app, users will be able to engage in community questions and answer with a real time video, search and apply for jobs in India and United States.
Although video resumes are not a substitute for conventional resumes, many recruiters use them as additional tool to determine the candidate’s behavior. The number of candidates who submit videos along with their resumes is still low, the trend is certainly picking up. The video allows the recruiters to see the candidate’s body language and intonation.
The video resume will also help recruiter pick over quilted resumes. When a candidate explains how they achieved a certain project in their previous organization, we can see whether they have made it up or not and also allow candidate to showcase their strength.
