Elecard is happy to announce that advanced possibilities for video content analysis are now available for Mac users thanks to our new version of StreamEye 4.2, a renowned in-depth analyzing tool, which is striking for its extended functionality and comprehensive support of current and next generation in-demand formats.

While compliance to bandwidth requirements is essential in the sphere of broadcasting and streaming, the use of emerging codecs such as VP9 is becoming a must. Elecard StreamEye 4.2 supports a core set of parameters for VP9 video codec analysis, developed by Google and enabling effective compression of HD-content for live streaming. Also the new version is enriched with the support of MP4 and MKV formats.

For better convenience Elecard StreamEye 4.2 is optimized by implementation of hot keys combinations for navigation functions and other useful features:

• HEVC field support;
• Bar chart scale, DPB occupancy, mark for the key frame for the current frame;
• New interaction with the frame control by mouse;
• A new split view feature in a pixels window: side-by-side view of pixels values at different stages of decoding or with the reference;
• An auto scale feature for block presenter window plus an ability to lock a selected block;
