Jaye Frances has announced the release of "Betrayed," the first book in the new “World Without Love” series. In a striking departure from her previous work, the author injects her signature intellectual appeal to the emerging and popular erotica suspense genre that combines unexpected plot twists with adult sexual situations.

"Betrayed" is set in contemporary times and centers around the main character, Jewel a twenty-one-year-old girl who marries an ex-Navy officer seven years her senior. After saying goodbye to friends and family in California, the couple begins traveling the world in search of new adventures. Two years later, Jewel has everything going for her a handsome husband, a promising future, and lots of time to explore an island paradise she now calls home. But when a group of strangers accompanies her husband home for a friendly game of poker, her life becomes a nightmare of deceit and betrayal.
