A new website promises to connect liberal home buyers and sellers with likeminded, progressive real estate professionals who pledge to donate a portion of their commission to a progressive organization of the client’s choosing.
The website, called Progressive Real Estate Agents (ProgressiveRealEstateAgents.com), was launched earlier this month by former Democratic National Committee technology staffer John Graff, who, after nearly a decade in progressive politics, moved his attention to the real estate industry with the goal of bringing integrity and trust to an industry frequently cited by the public as among the least trustworthy.
Graff described the idea as a way to keep money away from the opposing side and within a circle of organizations committed to good and justice.
