Powerful Yogurt announced the launch today of Project PINK, the company’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month effort featuring a special pink cup for its strawberry Greek yogurts. In a nod to the personal nature of the company’s efforts, the pink cup features Berenice Zavarce, the mother of the company’s Founder & CEO, who is currently fighting breast cancer.
The Project PINK cups will be available immediately across the U.S. and internationally at all Powerful Yogurt retailers.
Powerful Yogurt will donate a percentage of gross Project PINK sales to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The donation will support ongoing research for a breast cancer cure, as well as treatments for the 232,000 patients who are diagnosed every year in the U.S. alone. Project PINK will also bring visibility to the disease across the company’s social media platforms.
