Over the course of 3 busy days in November, more than 400 attendees and guest speakers from all over the world will gather in Bangalore India for the annual “Joomla World Conference”.
Joomla is a popular free software solution powering more than X million websites all over the globe. The software allows website owners to use the Content Management System (CMS) to create and maintain their websites with little to no technical knowledge.
Attendees at the conference will be a good mix of different types of web professionals, many of whom are Joomla contributors, and the program is packed with sessions by international speakers and experts.
“Each year, the Joomla World Conference takes place in a different Country, and this year India was the natural choice for us” says Jon Neubauer, group leader in charge of organizing the event.
“India is the fastest growing market for Joomla and we have seen a tremendous interest in using and contributing to Joomla from India. The choice of Bangalore was harder as India is such a large Country with many great locations, but the fact that so much technology is centered in Bangalore made the choice easier. We are excited to be hosting the World Conference in Bangalore and have already received lots of encouragement from local businesses who are eager to participate.” says Jon.
This is a special year for Joomla as it celebrates its 10 year anniversary.
The Joomla World Conference will take place at the “Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway” November 6th to November 8th.
