One of the world's most popular open source content management systems (CMS) used for everything from websites to blogs to custom apps to Intranets, announced the availability of Joomla 3.4.4 of its content management system on September 8. This is a maintenance release that includes a low priority XSS vulnerability.

The next major version of Joomla, version 3.5 is expected to be released in October 2015. Roland Dalmulder with help from George Wilson is leading the version 3.5 release. Roland is leader of the Joomla Bug Squad, and both are members of the Production Leadership Team (PLT).
