Luanda, Angola, 2015/07/17 - From 21th to 26th July 2015 the capital of Angola will be hosting the 32nd FILDA (Feira Internacional de Luanda), which is considered the country’s most important multi-sector trade fair - Lahmeyer.de.

This year, a delegation of German economic experts, headed by the Parliamentary State Secretary Brigitte Zypries, will visit the fair.
Lahmeyer International, together with Tractebel Engineering, will be presenting their extensive range of services in the German Pavilion. The focus will be on Lahmeyer’s leadership in the development of hydropower plants as well as the provision of engineering services for thermal power plants, renewable energy, and electricity transmission networks. Tractebel Engineering will highlight its expertise with regard to LNG and gas pipelines.
Within Angola Lahmeyer (lahmeyer.de) is associated with a number of notable reference projects. Currently our hydropower engineers and specialists are supervising construction of the 2,067 MW Laúca Hydropower Plant. In recent years, several inspections have been carried out at the existing 520 MW Capanda Hydropower Plant, as well as performance assessments and review of design studies for other hydropower plants (Matala, Caculo Cabaça, Jamba Ia-Mina, Jamba Ia-Oma).
