After two months of testing, independent analysis firm AV-TEST gave maximum points to corporate solution Bitdefender Endpoint Securityand consumer solution Bitdefender Internet Security, with both solutions detecting all known malware, proving zero detectable impact on system performance and giving no false warnings when visiting websites or using legitimate software.
“Our latest round of testing proved Bitdefender’s worth in both the corporate and consumer fields,” said Andreas Marx, CEO of AV-TEST. “Both Bitdefender Endpoint Security and Bitdefender Internet Security excelled across the board, in performance, protection and usability.”
The Bitdefender solutions, which tap the company’s machine-learning algorithms, cloud processing power capable of handling 7 billion requests in a day and the experience of 500 million users worldwide, fought off thousands of threats in some of the industry’s toughest tests.
Bitdefender Endpoint Security was subjected to 525,920 samples of legitimate malware and gave off zero false positives while it detected all 12,907 malware samples tested on it, according to AV-TEST results. Bitdefender Internet Security also caught all malware samples discovered in the four weeks prior to testing and gave off zero false warnings or blockages when using legitimate software, AV-TEST said.
