Human Growth Foundation announces its 3rd Annual Walk for Kids Growth charitable event will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 11 am to 2:00 pm at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, in Queens, NY. Walk for Kids Growth will increase awareness of childhood growth disorders and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. All ages and leashed pets are welcome. Attendees must register online at walkforkidsgrowth.org.
“This is a chance for the community to really show its support of children and those who are impacted by various disorders of growth and growth hormone deficiency, says Human Growth Foundation executive director Patricia Costa. The community is not only giving back by participating, but also attendees will know that by giving of their time, they are being a part of a growing solution.Research shows one in every 3500 children in Americas has a growth disorder or growth hormone deficiency.
Walk for Kids Growth will feature live entertainment by teen singing sensation LOVE JONES GIRLZ, and include a scenic 3-mile fun walk, and refreshments.
