Aurigo Masterworks, the world’s leading cloud-based capital program management system, is getting even better. Aurigo Software announced today, that while its award-winning software Aurigo Masterworks already integrates seamlessly with Microsoft SharePoint, the company has released fresh capabilities to further strengthen the Aurigo Masterworks and Microsoft SharePoint pairing.
Organizations across the world use Microsoft SharePoint to manage content, archive and share documents, collaborate and communicate among team members. However, for organizations with teams who plan and manage complex capital program management projects, SharePoint is not enough. They need to power it up with a capital project management suite like Aurigo Masterworks.
Aurigo Masterworks works in lockstep with SharePoint. Now, capital program planning and project controls personnel can manage their projects using Aurigo Masterworks while leveraging the power of SharePoint by sharing information between the two systems including documents, reports and dashboards using real-time integration. The same works in reverse. Users can upload or download documents directly into SharePoint from Aurigo Masterworks. Each time a new project is created in Masterworks, a corresponding entry is automatically created in SharePoint with the complete folder structure intact.
“Capital program and project management teams often cobble together SharePoint, Excel, and countless other tools that make for an error-prone, clumsy project management process that makes it cumbersome. Powering up SharePoint’s offerings with Aurigo Masterworks is not just convenient, but translates into big savings. The Utah Department of recently conducted a study that reveals an anticipated savings of $19.5 million per year using Aurigo Masterworks,” said Balaji Sreenivasan, CEO of Aurigo Software Technologies.
“Construction program planning and project management teams juggle a host of ever-changing factors. In addition to managing changing schedules and budgets, teams need to create multi-year capital plans, prioritize programs with scorecards, manage cash-flow forecasts and administer the entire construction contract lifecycle. They can do all of this very easily on a single platform using Aurigo Masterworks, and not lose the power of SharePoint,” says Kevin Koenig, Vice President of Aurigo Software Technologies.
