Ten years ago, Thales Alenia Space began to apply CMMI® (Capability Maturity Model Integration), the international standard that recognizes the performance and maturity of industrial organizations, at all facilities and in all countries where the company operates, across all of its business sectors. Thales Alenia Space was the first European satellite manufacturer to earn CMMI® Level 3 accreditation, at the end of 2008, and this accreditation has now been renewed for three years. Thales Alenia Space also took advantage of its annual audit for quality, environment, security and occupational safety certifications to verify the compliance of its management system with the new NATO standard (AQAP 2310) concerning quality management systems for aerospace products.
