WinetherapySpa, a line of natural, premium handcrafted Italian cosmetics, is now available in the United States. Created on a family vineyard in Umbria, the Winetherapy line includes 19 products for skin, hair, bath and body. The products are very high in antioxidants including polyphenols and Resveratrol, which contribute to cellular turnover and renewal and provide a more youthful looking appearance, as well as vitamins A, C and E, which prevent free radicals from damaging skin and leading to wrinkles and premature aging.
“Our mission is to provide products from nature, not just for your wine glass but also for your skin,” says Winetherapy creator Sara Goretti. Winetherapy products use the grapes, including seeds, skins, juice and vine trimmings, exclusively from the Goretti family vineyard near Perugia. Sara Goretti and her sister Giulia produce the Italian line of Winetherapy.
Winetherapy’s natural use of ingredients include Olea Europaea fruit oil (juice from the olive), Vitis vinifera leaf extract (red vine leaf extract), Hydrolyzed grape fruit,
Helianthus annuus seed oil (sunflower oil), Miele (honey), Vitis Vinifera juice (red grape juice), Fucus vesiculosus extract (seaweed) and Equisetum arvense leaf extract (horsetail extract). All of these natural ingredients are sourced locally for their anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties.
“On a recent trip to Italy, we enjoyed a wine tasting at the Goretti vineyards and discovered these amazing skincare products,” says Beth Graham, the U.S. distributor for Winetherapy, LLC. “We bought several products for our own personal use and within a few weeks starting noticing a real difference in our skin’s texture and youthfulness.
