Elecard Native Codec SDK is out to enable developers to deliver more powerful and portable applications based on the renowned Elecard codecs and targeting web.

Within Native Codec SDK Elecard introduces updated decoders implemented as OpenMax IL components that allow developers to carry their playback application software across multiple platforms. The kit also includes libraries for NaCl and examples for running native player app in Chrome web browser.

The current suite of components supports splitting of MPEG TS and playback of H.264/AVC video and AAC audio. The encoding capabilities will be added in the next SDK updates.
